is it just me or is every journalist trying to sell a Prince interview nowadays with this tag line?

surely in the last 5 years Prince has granted more interviews than he has done in the last 25 years.

Sure he was kinda quiet back in the day but now he seems to be granting interviews contstantly.

Do you think if he keeps on doing interviews the press will keep on going on about "he doesnt give many interviews but when he does he talks to us" .

i think it's obligatory to put "exclusive" before "prince talks" or "prince interview"...who knows, maybe that's part of the interview agreement they gotta sign or something.

For being "exclusive" they sure repeat the same stuff.

yeah, he's been like a talking pull-the-string doll in these recent interviews....blah blah blah, pushed the envelope off the table, blah blah blah real music by real musicians...ok, we get it...there have been some interesting moments, though...

"Exclusive" just means that in this particular interview Prince only talked to one journalist instead of answering questions to a pool of journalists. No matter how many interviews Prince gives, as long as he talks to one journalist at the time, they are all exclusive.

I think they are mostly making themselves look silly because all the diehards like myself, know Prince isn't gonna get that deep with them anyway and know he has already gave them a list of questions they can ask and those they can't. Watching one exclusive video to the next with the same info in different phrasing.

'Extra' did this just the other night: in the opening, they said something about how he never gives interviews. He's giving one every time I turn around!
