. And you are man enough to admit it. There are those so-called straight guys that are afraid of the fact they are attracted to Prince because he is so fine, their own homophobia - the fear and uncertainty they feel about their own sexuality - is what causes them to lash out and label Prince gay, when it is potentially themselves. I know some guys who say they would marry Prince because he is so pretty but it is just a way to express their fondness and appreciation of Prince, the complete package, and they are man enough to say it and not give a damn what anyone thinks of them for it.

Hi this is my 1st post.
I had to get in on this. I can’t believe some of the threads on this subject. Prince wore the butt out on the MTV award show because he had it like that. The yellow suite with the butt out was slammin. Till this day it is still being talked about. He didn’t look stupid he looked freakin sexy. He is defiantly aware of the comments being made about him. That’s one of the things that make him so special. He doesn’t give a dam about what others think because he knows what he’s about. Many books have been written about him and no one has mentioned him being gay. It’s easy for one to judge him on his appearance because of his small frame. He can wear whatever he wants to wear and look good. Look at his dress appearance now. Hell no P is not gay. He wears the heels for height. Yes he's extremely gorgeous and knows it. He has the body that everyman wish they had and to top it all he looks so dam sexy in everything he puts on his body. On the Today show with Matt Lauer he said he just can’t help but be sexy. What’s wrong with that? If you got it flaunt it. You can believe he’s got it. You have never heard anyone say that Prince was with another man. If he was gay the tabloids would have jumped on that a long time ago. Prince is not ashamed of his beautiful body. All the books that have been written about him, all the women that have been in love with him, something would have slipped out by now. Trust and believe that. I can relate to his style. Totally Lovin it. I remember reading back in the day that he did a lot of things to draw attention, and that he did and he still draws attention. We are into our Prince. We care how he looks, talk, walk, dress, sing, write, and perform, how his music sells, the whole nine yards. He is truly our PRINCE Always has been Controversy Lovin Prince more and more each day. Prince! You’re so fine, filthy cute and U know

Damn right and well said...if you don't act like everyone else then something must be wrong. Always happened to me as a kid...just because I didn't play sports or do this or that then something had to be wrong. Why do people think Prince is gay? If he was gay, he wouldn't have those gorgious women around him. Is it his actions, the way he moves, what. I think they had Prince in mind when they came up with the term "Metrosexual" * A modern man who has adopted what was traditionally perceived as feminine traits * Metrosexual: (noun) A straight, urban male eager to embrace and /or show off his feminine side, especially when it comes to pricy haircuts, designer suits, and skin care products. * Tricky word for a guy who is actually straight, but everyone thinks he's gay because he is very much in touch with his feminine side. * Straight guy who seems to be gay because he practices the dressing and/or grooming habits of a stereotypical homosexual. * A heterosexual man who is very much in touch with his feminine side, and is not scared to show it. He can appreciate upscale things like Gucci bags, Prada wallets, etc. CALL ME A DREAMER 2!

personnally i thought prince was gay b4 i started gettin in 2 him. this was because of several things. imagine u c a man walking down the high street wearing high heels, inches of makeup, a frilly shirt and tight trousers u will immediately think they r gay. not that all gay men dress like that obviously. prince gets away with doing this i guess because he is an entertainer and a showman

. People who want to be gay?? Yeah, I know loads of them I'm gay and have no desire for P to be also having never fancied him. I have never met a gay man who does either - they all think he's a dog, whereas I think he looks great but just doesn't float my boat. And furthermore every guy back in school hated P because they thought he was gay, and if they were all gay too then I sure lucked out there! Think a little - it doesn't hurt

Probably been said already but...
...they probably think he's gay because he's extremely gifted and eccentric....and beacause they're stupid.....or because they're jealous because he has been with some of the most attractive women on the face of the planet...

I don't think he's gay, but the number of women he's been with don't prove a damn thing re. his heterosexuality. I brought up Rock Hudson before -google him and see what I'm talking about if you don't already know. BTW, it's getting really annoying when people say, "I know he's straight" "He can't be gay" "He's been married, so I know he's straight." etc. You can have an opinion, or an idea about what he is and what he isn't, but unless you know him personally, you don't actually know what he is -gay, straight, or bi. So saying you know something like that for sure is just silly. [This message was edited Fri Jul 16 19:17:36 2004 by meow85] "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Check out the length of this thread and it demonstrates what P accomplished by alternating the fashions from flamboyant to classy. It piques everyones interest, keeps them guessing and, once again, shows the degree of his intelligence. In the end, he sells more music because of it. The same as giving away the CD's at the show gets the music circulating and sells more music. The man is brilliant! Also, the bottom line is, whether he dresses flayboyant or classy, he comes off as sexy, sexy, sexy and he knows it! I really admire his sense of humor and I view the whole gay question that he raises with people as being very crafty on his part. Those ass pants were PRICELESS evidence of all of the above.

Is it his actions, the way he moves, what. i think it is just everything about him his build, his excentric dressing (when he first started) He wears makeup, he can hit those high notes and he just drips charisma he has grace and poise now who many straight men have those qualitys? hmmmmm plus people are narrow minded and stupid! [This message was edited Wed Jul 14 10:05:22 2004 by lollyp0p] i have all those qualities lolly if it break when it bend u betta not put it in

yeah...Im gonna have to say no...Prince is not gay. He's the epitome of creativity and in order for all of that to come out the right way, you can't be closed minded or one-sided. U have to take from what we consider to be feminine traits as well as masculine traits. I think that's something that only other musically "rooted" individuals understand. All of that put together is what makes him so much more attractive than others. And about the clothes...I truly believe that Prince appreciates a woman's beauty, style...all of that. Her "enchante" if you will . He appreciates it to the point that he enhances himself with it...now the heels...that's just a height thing. But then again, if prince was 6'0 do you think he would still wear heels? I don't know about all that. But I do believe he appreciates the beauty of a woman, period. He is attracted to those things that identify with women. So again, he's not gay. To be called feminine though, Prince is tough. He's still a "man". Maybe not a thug (lol), but he's got all the "right" qualities that are needed to keep a woman from feeling like she's with another woman. I think he's a balanced individual. Heels and all...lol

Where I come from, these bastards are called "trade". They are physically attracted to women but they will let a man suck their dick or will fuck a man up the ass. Hey, an orgasm is an orgasm, whether it comes from a man or a woman, it still feels the same. They think because they are not the one sucking or getting fucked, then they are straight. I've got news for the bastards. A gay person cannot be gay alone. It takes two to tango. What they really are is bisexual but they will not admit it to themselves. If you ask them their "TEE" (preference), they will say straight. If that's the case, why do they keep the fact that a man sucked their dick a secret?! When they brag to their friends about all the women they have been with, why don't they tell them about the men too? Prince is FAR from trade. Trade would never be caught dead looking feminine. Trade is more masculine than a straight man. All these "ganstas" you see....the majority of them are trade. Straight men don't walk around with a "tough" image all the damn time. Trade has something to prove and something to hide. Before the hip hop phenomena, gay people could spot trade out just by looking like them. They dressed and acted just like these hip hop males. Now that hip hop has dominated the charts, it is getting harder and harder to point out trade because they have straight men looking like them. Prince is either 100% gay and living in a closet or 100% straight and creating a "mystic" (I hop e I spelled that right). Trade would NEVER dress or act the way he does. [b]Hip Hop gets its style from the so called hard mother fuckers that come out of prison.Styles such as the pants hanging 3 inches off the ass is a homosexual act displayed by gay men in prison who are "available" for sex. 80% of all men who go to prison will have "gay" sex and this is now another cause of the "down-low" effect in the Black community because 50% of all Black males will eventually go to prison. The MK ULTRA experement known as hip-hop has now claimed another aspect of the Black community. [This message was edited Sat Jul 17 8:48:50 2004 by muleFunk]
