i have spent my whole life sticking up for Prince's sexuality

but when i first saw the video for I Wanna be your Lover (band version with the blue shorts)

it made me think he was gay.

for those who havent seen it, picture the photo of the red shorts but he's dancing around in them.

Gay or not, here's what I think is cool:
People have long thought he's a 'mo and STILL -- he's selling out concerts, selling tons of albums (well sorta, kinda ), and he's still got a big fan base. I just wish sexuality weren't such a determining factor for the acceptance of the rest of the world.

I've said this before and I will say it again. I really don't know what Prince's sexuality is. That is what I love about him so much.

If he IS gay then he shatters the stereotypes that all gay men are weak sissies into showtunes and Judy Garland. He can rock with hardest headbangers and out-jam the funkiest funkateers. He is straight out baddd!!! He takes that gay image and pushes it dead in your face and hopes you don't like it!

On the other hand, if he's straight. I think he is the STRONGEST man ever for not giving a damn or even being insulted if you think he's gay. That is STRENGTH. Remember when Oprah Winfrey asked him if it bothered him if people thought he was weird or gay? He replied sarcastically..."Hey...huh, huh,....whatever floats the boat!" I have rewinded that part of the tape over and over. I have never been so proud of someone.

Like I always say...."He's always shoved a gay image down your throat, and if you don't like it....Bend over so he can shove it up your ass!!!"

People who do not know if they are straight or gay get into other people's sexuality.

If you are not approached to have sex with Prince (male or female) then why is it any of your business ?

SO TRUE! I get asked this question myself personally, usually in front of a group of people, as a form of humiliation. I never give them what they want to see...some finger snapping or ass wiggling, and get mad. I turn the tables on them and say..."Why are you interested?" They usually are the ones getting mad and saying "Hell no...I don't go that way!". I very calmly and coolly reply "The only reason I can think of for you to want to know my business is if you're interested in getting with me...other than that, it's none of your business."

People probably think Prince is gay because they think that he is weird. Back in the day, When he use to wear the bikini briefs and the trench coat with those heels, people thought..."WTF??"..his style was so unusual and different...that's what made Prince, Prince. But Prince is a man who re-creates his self every what five years?? Now he is wearing suits lookin' all pimped out, and like a 46 year old Man... Back in say what, 1991? When he was wearing the assless pants, 1994-1995 (?) the make up and outfits..It was just plain weird.

Then the way people saw him in the public eye like the assless pants..which if you ask me is just plain embrassing and he has alot of guts showing his ass in front of millions of people (literally)..Alot of people saw him as the short gay cissy-fied fruity fagot with the high voice by the way he dressed and just put his whole public person in view.. but to me..i never saw him as gay..just a guy who was different..not weird..he just expressed his self in a different way...

But if you ask me..I don't see anything gay about Prince. Come on, You have to admit that Prince just wouldn't be Prince with out the heels. He just has a real feminine side..that's all...

I don't doubt about whether he's gay or not - im he wouldn't be married to a WOMAN if he were gay right? But you have to admit that he plays with his image.
