***The Sales Would anyone happen to know the US sales totals for all of Prince's albums?
SoundScan didn't start until 1991, so the certifications of the albums will do. All I know is "Purple Rain" went 14x platinum and "Diamonds & Pearls" went 7x platinum. Also, I think "Musicology" is at 1.1 million sold with platinum status. This is very helpful 2 me, becuz I'm a new Prince fan and I want to know a lot about him, and I thought I'd start with the basic stuff like Singles and Sales...btw thanx to the people that gave me all the info about his singles!

singles and sales info ain't exactly basic, especially for a new fan like yourself. your best bet would be just to start up on learnin about p's body of work right around now...the charts n'such can wait till a bit later on down the line.

D&P went 3x platinum if I'm not mistaken.
