wendy was ok at playing rhythm but her solo work wasn't good.
everytime i heard her play when doves cry solo she didn't go well. listen to the original when doves cry solo prince played so fluent, beautiful. her take of when doves cry solo sounded less like fluid guitar solo it sounded as a bunch of licks thrown in together.very amaterish

I'm sorry I think this is one of the worst tracks he EVER did in the 1980s. I enjoyed "Kiss" from that era, bought the album and thought it was his worst ever. I enjoyed the B Side "Love Or Money" from that era so when I bought the next B Side and it was "Alexa De Paris", I wanted to throw it across the room! I said "He's smoking some serious shit...now he's getting into classical!" Andy is a four letter word.

the liner notes to Prince albums are completely worthless and meaningless. people credited for things they didn't do, not credited for things they did do. it's even more worthless when you get into the songwriting listings (even on his own albums, not just for the secretive side projects). "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

well whats wrong wit classical? i mean venus de milo on Paade is a bit classical and its beautiful....Purple Rain played on piano sounds a bit classical and its beautiful..Condition Of The Heart ESPECIALLY the opining music sounds classical and its beautfil. The guitar solo n Computer Blue when played on piano sounds classical...and i actually like it better on piano..Electric Intercourse..when he stops singing and plays piano for bit that sounds a bit classical..Gigolos Get Lonely Too..if played only on piano would sound a lil classical..so c he's always been n2 doin the classical stuff...he just didn't make it like really noticeble i guess u could say. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!
