as i was copying these numbers for Call My Name i was thinking how much fun chart watching used to be in the 80's and how now the singles chart is totally worthless...i was never a fan of having radio airplay combined with single sales to determine the popularity of a song but now its just ridiculous! with so many artists not releasing retail sales the chart is now determined mostly on radio airplay! so the chart these days is not whats popular with the public its whats popular with the radio programmers! and thats just nuts..billboard's going to have to have single downloads count for more of the chart in the future or company's have to start releasing more cd singles because as it is now the top 40 charts are a joke Check it out ...Shiny Toy Guns R gonna blowup VERY soon and bring melody back to music..you heard it here 1st! http://www.myspacecomment...theone.mp3 | |
