Come 93 and Gold 94?

How different would Prince's career have been if prince had not fallen out with Warner Bros, had therefore not changed his name and had released the following albums...

Come - album released in 1993
Gold - album released in 1994
Chaos & Disorder - album released in 1995

Just a thought

P.S. This is perfectly plausible if you look at the recording sessions section in Uptown's The Vault and also have a look at scififilmnerds excellent thread (with cool info from BorisFishpaw)... http://www.prince.org/msg/7/101499

Thanks

'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

ya know thinking back...those were 3 strong albums in a row..and without all the crap that was going on at the time those albums would have been major hits instead of the minor ones they turned out to be

I agree completely. But, of course! biggrin

The good thing is that we can recreate the known, original track lists for ourselves and enjoy the listening experiences as they were meant to be/would have been if the artist had been free at the time. Playing a little "what if" never hurt anybody. biggrin

And we can pray that maybe one day, Prince will make old, unreleased albums and early versions of released albums available from his website. pray
