here's the only lyrics I can make out from the movie. You only really get the choruses as the
scene always cuts away 2 lines into the verses. There are a couple more lines just audible at the
end, but Morris & Jerome are talking over it at that point and I can't work them out.

thet song modernaire is really cool. i have been trying to find that song for years. i was at paisley park one day and asked mr hayes about it. he said that he knew the song and had no idea if there was a record out there some with it recorded. i like the dance that the crowd was doing in the movie. the song sounds like "classic" prince with the synths and electronic snare drums of the 80s. dez left the revolution and i understand that he had a group called white cross that was christian rock. i had a friend in college who wqas born again and was really into christian rock if you type dez dickerson into the web, you should get something.
