Different Versions Of Empty Room

First off, this is a great song. I love it and my fave version if from C-NOTE
but how many versions are there
there's the C-NOTE one from 2002
there's the one from 1995 which had a video and was played b4 the show durin the euro tour.
but i've just downloaded another version. it features heavy orchestration and no guitar solo. its only the first verse and chrous and begins fading out at 1:40 and ends at 2:03
any idea what year this one is from?
...just another manic monday...

I have 1985 and the 1995 version and if the 2002 version is there, then that makes three versions of a funky song.

1992. He recorded it solo on the Australian leg of the Diamonds And Pearls tour, for inclusion in the I'll Do Anything movie. Other songs taped at the same time include There Is Lonely, The Rest Of My Life, and Don't Talk 2 Strangers (among others).

A previous, uncirculating, version was recorded with the Revolution in 1985. The basis of this track was used as the basis of the 1994/1995 version.

Empty Room is one of my favorite tracks of all time, and I love that it was recorded with most of his major bands: Revolution, Gold NPG, ONA NPG, as well as a solo recording. I wonder if the Lovesexy band ever got their hands on this track...

This is a killer track - the Gold-era version is my favorite (unbelievable guitar solo) - I was so disappointed it wasn't on any of the 1995-1996 albums. Boris, was this ever planned for an album?

She Gave Her Angels was perhaps considered too similar to have Empty Room on Crystal Ball...

Was there any truth to the rumor of the Extraordinary promo-CD containing Empty Room as a b-side?

The 1985 version is NOT circulating, you must have the 1992 version cause if you had the 1985 version, you would be an instant millionaire. And ths song is not funky. nod
