Who knows anything about Prince's family? Parents & siblings? I know that sometimes he referres to them like in the lady cab driver song he says something about his brother handsome and tall. And i know he has a sister Tyka who put out an album but all my info is vague and 'heard from' ... Anyone know what the deal is?

He was the first´common´child of John & Mattie Nelson,grew up between 8
stephbrothers and sisters except for his younger sister Tyka.

At the age of 7 his parents divorced and when his mother remarried Prince also left home.He moved in with his father and got his first guitar
but after a while he was kicked out,for a while he lived with his aunt but she didn´t get
a long with his guitar.The Anderson fmily-friends of his parents-took him in and he
became close friends with Andre(Cymone),they started playing music and in the
basement they didn´t disturb anybody.I could tell U more about how Prince´s band-

Yeah, he's very private - I have Tyka's CD - it's not too bad. I don't recall if there is song by her Big Brother or not.
