toward the end of shooting the movie Spile lee ran out of money and the studio wouldn't give him any more so he got on the phone and called some people:
Prince Janet Bill Cosby Oprah Magic Micheal Jordan etc and they gave him enough to finish the project. He thanks them all in the credits
