Diamonds and Pearls: a Hip-Hop Ballad? A friend of mine has one of Cam'ron's albums and I was surprised to see a song called "Diamonds and Pearls" on it. When I heard it, I was even more surprised that it has the hook from the original "Diamonds and Pearls" song. It's not all that bad actually. Does Prince have any say in who gets to borrow his songs, because I know he did "Diamonds and Pearls" when he was still with Warner Bros. Well, Prince knew nothing about the Foo Fighters version of Darling Nikki, so I'd say that Warner Bros make the decisions and he gets the money. | |
