okay, so the song I Hate U is about carmen electra - but one part of the lyrics i couldn't understand was:
"Speakin' of which, U owe me, U owe me about a million 8 or more
Perhaps we need 2 get U down at the corner store
Yeah baby, U know what time it is ... body biz"
So today i was reading about his recording of other artist at paisley park, and the article mentioned that he'd personally put forward over a million dollars to promote Carmen's album and how quickly it had flopped (sidenote: wouldn't it be a lot more successful if he'd released it a few years later once she was already famous?...). Anyway, so over a million $ on promotion plus the cost of actually recording the album etc probably explains the "million 8 or more", but what does "get U down at the corner store... body biz" mean?? A sly reference to whoring her out maybe?

Also, I Hate U and supposedly Ripopgodazippa r both about carmen - anyone know of any other songs he wrote about Carmen??

i read in a book he spent $2m of his own money on videos of carmen tracks for promotion then ditched them the album and her !!!

I thought I heard she tried to leave him to move to LA and he went a little coo-coo on her. I believe he had someone watching her. It was on one of those VH1 shows I think.
