i never got into the Prince album...
until i watched the Nude Tour, Live from Japan (i think) and was blown away by Bambi.... kicking myself in the ass for ignoring that classic for so long. | |

I liked the concert as a whole -well the parts that were televised-....but i hate the way his guitar sounded around that time...it's over processed....dsp has a lot to answer for

That's a great one. The Nude Tour was actually my first prince show (May 6, 1990 at the St. Paul Civic Center). No Bambi at my show, so it's good to see that clip.  There's also a funny impromptu performance at that same directory by Prince and Michael Jackson at an Apollo show with James Brown. | |

Pretty cool clip.
I saw three shows of the nude tour, but he didn't play "Bambi" over here in Holland, IIRC. Don't like the song, btw, but I like the guitar-stuff. 
If anybody has a clip of ''When You Were Mine'' from the Lovesexy tour 1988, I'd love to see that. It's my favourite live cut ever! Thanx for posting the clip, looking forward to more of such links.  | |
