Why do y'all talk about 17 days??? I haven't heard it in years... I will have to take another listen. Maybe I don't remember how good it was... but it was filler to me back in the day.

I love 17 Days and She's Allways In My Hair ,but for me the 12 inch Hot Thing extended version tops out .

Funny story about 17 Days .I never heard 17 days during the Purple Rain hype.I finally heard this "new" song from Prince in late fall 1986.I asked the cat who was playing it who it was .He said that's Prince from the Purple Rain album .Astounded I searched all over until I found a mom & pop record store that sold 12 inch singles. Luckily I bought that day the 12 in. versions of WDC/17 days,Lets Go Crazy/Erotic City,Let's Pretend We're Married,Rasp. Beret/She's Always In My Hair,Pop Life/Hello, America/Girl,Kiss/Love or Money, & Mountains/Alexa de Paris.

the best b-side would have to be the extended version of la la la hee hee heethen 17 days, then horny toad, then alexa de paris, then shockadelica, hell, i think that most of the b-sides are good. those were always my favorite prince songs. i wish that he would still release b-sides.
