Prince and dancers

I bought the Rave Un2 the Year 2000 dvd on Friday. While watching it, I became irritated with the 2 dancers that he has on stage. The chick with the short blond hair must have been there for eye candy because she couldn't even dance. They served no purpose and are very distracting. Prince is such a wonderful performer that he doesn't need dancers on stage with him. Just like those guys that are dancing on stage with him in the Musicology video, they are just in the way. I cringe whenever I see footage or videos with the NPG dancers.. mad Why Prince...Why? confused I never saw the Lovesexy tour, but based on the pics I have seen of the tour, Cat was also a waste of space.

Co-sign. Like Mayte, Cat's energy rebounded on Prince, making him perform better and giving him a way to act out songs on stage.
Both the Sign O The Times and the Lovesexy tours became even more magnificent.

It was Diamond & Pearl that dissappointed me.

And the Game Boyz of course. They were crap. (Sorry, Kirk)

I have never seen any of the performances with Mayte, so I can't comment on that. I just don't like those guys that he had dancing with him and whoever that guy and girl are in the Rave Un2 the Year 2000 dvd are awful. Anywho, I only want to see P and his band.

I've never liked any of the dancing fools he's had. Just play music...I don't need to see the dancers. If I had to make an exception...Cat would be the only one...and THAT'S stretching it.
I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't.

Yes because that 2 minutes where the dancers were on stage without Prince was what ruined that DVD shake

I wasn't too thrilled when the Pips were added to the Revolution either.

ELBOOGY

Cat, Mayte,Geneva all added 2 Prince's shows. Especially in small club aftershows. Now the 2 on Rave DVD i don't think were special at all,but with P it's about feeling&insperation. He would'nt use them if he did'nt need them just like certain instruments. He feeds off of them just like he does the crowd!
U,ME,WE!....2FUNKY!
