Which albums do u hate most?

I don't like:

89 - Batman
90 - Graffiti Bridge
94 - Come
01 - The Very Best Of (fuck Warner Bros.!)
02 - One Nite Alone... (the piano album)
03 - N.E.W.S. (I dont' know, what I should think of that)

Paece & B Wild! - The New Power Man

all the '90s output rots to me.

Even Prince has had his ups an downs with his creative output. But, the only prince album that I absolutely NEVER listen to is Rave. It has to be his most contrived, "trying to have a hit" album ever. And, to me, he's the best when he is the least commercial.

As far as my least favourite albums:

#1 with a bullet-New Power Soul (I think this is the consensus all time low!)
#2 Diamonds And Pearls (Some great songs but the bad ones are really bad.)
#3 Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic (Too disjointed. And "Everyday Is A Winding Road" is so bad it would have sunk Sign 'O' The Times.)
#4 Graffiti Bridge (I hate the sound of this one. As with Diamonds And Pearls it has some great songs but the bad songs are really bad. What would it have sold if Prince hadn't come up with "Thieves In The Temple" at the last minute?)

These are the only albums I really don't like. I'm not a huge fan of the instrumental albums but I don't consider them in the same class as his vocal releases.

Now you know you ain,t no real prince fan cause ain,t no bad albums....either you fell um, or you don,t jerk.

'Rave' and 'NPS' aren't 'up there' with the likes of '1999' or 'SOTT', but any album that contains either "Come On" or "I Love U But I Don't Trust U" are keepers in my opinion.

The friggin Rainbow Children....It's a sad collection of crappy songs that serve only to remind us that Prince's religion changed and we will have to dig out the old stuff if you want to hear him sing about sex....Hate it.

I don't like Graffiti Bridge too much crap, Around A world in a day wasn't that good ethier and NPS was crap too.

haven't actually heard any of the other songs more than once or twice but I didn't like them very much, maybe I need to give it another chance. Any song suggestions I should give a second chance to on Lovesexy?

I prolly need to give this album more of a chance, too....maybe not though.

All the others I think are pretty great with a bad song exception or 3. I actually really liked the stuff from 93' on up and 89' and before.

NPS, N.E.W.S. and Diamonds&Pearls are the worst Prince albums to date. NPS starts off with the sorriest Prince song ever, is redeemed for one song by Mad Sex and sinks back into wack, with the One being the only good song on the rest of the album. N.E.W.S. is boring and uninspired. Diamonds & Pearls is simply bad music. (Insatiable is my jam though )

diamonds and pearls is probably my least favorite album of his right now, but that's not to say there aren't songs on there that i love. "gett off", "willing and able" and "thunder" come to mind immediately...

The ones I really don't care for are, in no particular order:
* "Emancipation" (too long, too overproduced, to cheesy and there are only two good tracks on it - "Slave" and "The Holy River")
* "Come" (what the hell was he thinking of?)
* "Chaos & Disorder"
* "NEWS" (boring)
* "Rave" (awful, and the only decent tracks on it are killed by the production)
* "Diamonds & Pearls" (loved it at the time, hate it now)
* "Symbol" (as above)
* "For You" (can't understand a word he's singing! Too many synths as well...)
* "The Vault - Old Friends for Sale" (bought it, listened to it once, threw it away)

If you're wondering why "NPS" isn't on here, I haven't heard it
