PRINCE COMPARISONS

I dont know why Prince & MJ are always being compared.. does it go back to the 80's???

As an artist MJ has nothing on prince... I would expect comparisons such as Andrew De Silva (melbourne boy), Lenny Kravitz & many others....

Vocally the range can be compared to Maxwell

etc....

What do you guys recon???

Whilst MJ is probably more of a "popstar", and it was his huge popularity that generally links the two there are a lot of other similarities too. MJ is actually a multi instrumentalist, despite not really promoting it and on most of his 80s albums wrote AND COMPOSED many of the songs singlehandedly, and like prince does seem to be intuititive musically. They are (in different ways) amazing to watch live. Finally they are and especially compared to todays stars totally unique and what many ppl (ignorant stupid ppl) call " a bit wierd" - There will never be another MJ and there most certainly will never be another prince...

Because both are black and have a feminine "glam" look.
Andy is a four letter word.

Sorry I have to disagree... I think you might have MJ confused with Quincy Jones there lol
