Yes I to will make it one day to the celebration (tear in eye) and this year my birthday falls in the middle of it all.

booked a room at the good ole Chanhassen inn today! woo hoo! that place is cheap1
who ever asked for the rough cost of the trip? you're in the US? if so....figure no more then 1000 dollars. I plan on being thrifty this year and spend way under a 1000 but...the last 2 years I went...total cost (with everything) was between 800 and 1000.
oh here's a tip for those who think they can not go. Do you have a 401k plan at work? you can borrow from that you know? they are all different...some penalize some don't. I was able to take a minimum loan of 1000 last year with not penalties, and I pay myself back the intrest, and it comes right outta my check...about 50 per 2 week pay period...not a bad idea if ya ask me.

Shorty, how much is the Chanhassen Inn per night, since you said it was cheap? Depending on how cheap, I just might give them a call. Thanks!

$55/night was quoted to me today for one person, queen bed.
$75/night king size. and that's all I know. It's a great place to stay b/c all my friends stay there! And they're basically full of purple people. Last year Milennia even stayed there!

alexnvrmnd, (neptunes too?) I got different prices then neptunes...I think that's who gave other prices...anyway, what I was told by the clerk (Ray) at Chanhassen Inn was for a 4 occupancy room it would be 65.00 + 4.23 (tax) so 69.23 per night (split that by 4 and it's purty cheap!) and for a 2 occupancy room it was 63.90 per night. That's about as cheap as you'll find I think.
EMANCIPATION, and anyone else who's wondering about hotels near paisley, The Chanhassen Inn is about the closest (about a mile or so away) ... but any hotels in Eden Prairie, Chanhassen, or Bloomington are pretty close, I stayed in Bloomington (where the mall of America is) in 2000, it was about a 15 to 20 minute drive. Eden Prairie is closer than that....about 5 to 10 minutes away. hope that helps!

Yes,I was up the hill. LOL But, the difference now is, I live in Minneapolis. Before I lived in Santa Fe. I know it's a bit odd living here and choosing to stay in a hotel, but I would like to be close to the girls. We just have way too much fun at the hotel hanging out and giggling and stuff.
