There will be a feature included on the new DVD for "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" titled: LEARNIN' THE MOVES WITH MORRIS DAY & THE TIME (on disc 2.)

Here we're treated to a few clips of Kevin and Jay as they work with Morris Day to learn the moves for the "Jungle Love" sequence at the end of the film. The guys ended up looking quite natural in the final product, so it's interesting to see them fumble through the steps a few times. This is a relatively short clip without voiceover or narration, but a neat little inclusion. I'd have loved a bit more insight on this, though, such as if Morris Day was intended for the film all along (as Purple Rain is a big fave of Smith's) or if it was something that happened later on in the writing process.

Also included on page two of the extra disc is a text description of The Time, taking you from the origins of the band all the way to the state of the band today. Not much to say here, just some interesting stuff on the band's start with Prince, controversy, the break-ups, and the reforming years later.

Anyway, sounds like a cool feature to me,but I think it's time for Morris and his Crew to start making some music again, what about a new album, is there anything in the works? Can't believe it's more than 10 years since pandemonium hit the stores.

Does the origins of the band mention that they were conceived by Prince and that he wrote and recorded their material?

That was a funny movie to begin with and The Time element and appearance at the end just made it all the better...great movie to get on DVD.

i know that smith filmed last year's celebration along with a concert in milwaukee over the summer that i saw (my favorite prince concert ever. i've been to about ten). he was going to release a video with all of this footage from celebration what happened? another idea of prince's that was put aside.

It was reported that Kevin Smith's footage from the Celebration was filmed for Prince for his "personal archives". Booooo!
