Candy Dulfer Talks about working with Prince

I might work with Prince some more.

As you know I recorded some stuff for him in December and I had a great time in Paisley Park where I met up with some old friends again; Femi Jiya, Prince's recording engineer when he doesn't do it himself, and Takumi, Prince's guitartech, a great guy who always makes you feel at home and makes sure you work with all the latest technical stuff he can find. (Also he drove me and my mom Inge to Minneapolis' Mall of America, sensing very well that we were the kind of girls who'd like an hour or two of fierce shopping.)

Prince was his usual charming, generous and energetic self and the music was very new and inspiring. I have no information on when and where he is going to release this new stuff but my guess is if he does, a lot of people will be (pleasantly) surprised! As always I was very inspired by his music and his way of working, and also very tired because he knows how to work you haha. I hope I can do some more work for him in the near future.
