I don't know if this is really news, but I haven't seen this anywhere definitely posted.

I wrote to the music club asking if there would be files or an ahdio show for October. This is the response I received:

We feel that the 14 brand new songs from The Rainbow Children completes the edition 4 October.

NPG Music Club"

Personally, I don't agree with that. Prince has had the album completed since at least June, plus he's releasing it in stores in December (or whatever the date is). This was supposed to be a first listen -- how could it possibly count towards fulfillment of the monthly music club files and ahdio show? I think the little Ceasar just got a free month out of music club members...

[Well, you got an album of new material, and didn't have to buy it in the store... seems like a month's worth of membership dues to me... I'm certainly not complaining, I'm amazed the MC is still around! -Ben]
