This past Sunday nite party at ChiTown's "The Berlin" was "off-da'- hook"!!!! The ChiTownGeneration and THeDetroitCrawl clubs came 2gether 4 a nite 2 remember

This was Ur fearless leader's first time attending a NPGMC party at The Berlin, so I was curious 2 see 4 myself what goes on at these parties. Normaly, Sunday nite is a "no-no" 4 me (gotta work 2 pay 4 my "Princely" habits, ya' know but with The DetroitCrawl peps coming in2 town, I just had 2 b there :0 lMy Girl, Keeta and myself arrived a bit early (didn't know exactly when the Detroiters would arrive) and from the outside the club looked almost lifeless. Sam greeted us at the door and invited us in with a smile. There was a small group of folks at the bar and at first I was feeling it. We found a spot and begin 2 watch "The Beautiful Experience" on the big screen (can't wait 2 receive my copy of this video from the NPGMC!). After awhile, familiar faces began 2 show-up (Hey Lara,Thomas, Bianca, Motley and Karla!). With "Halloween" being so close, we also had a few folks in costume (three Prince look-a-likes, two "Darlin' Nikki's and a Witch or two).

The music (all Prince and Prince related-Artist) included tracks from "the Rainbow children", well blended with other new and old Prince tunes (well done Sam!). TheDetroitCrawl gang arrived shortly after (Hey, Peggy, Ricco and Tim!) and it was on! The Chi-Towners and Detroit peps was trying 2 out do each other on the dance floor! We sent the next hours doing just that! Chicago's own, Julian (dressed as Gemini) did a great job lip-syncing 2 "Partyman) and then later he, Motley and a few other did "The Bird" in true "Time" style.and of course we all felt good during "America" (all 20 minutes of it!). We Dance, "The Dance Electric" until around 3:30 a.m., when
TheDetroitCrawler's had 2 head back 2 the "Motor City". We walked them 2 their vehicle and promised 2 do this again real soon. I only wish that the parties could at least b on a Friday nite but oh well!
Will definitely go again and hope 2 see more of the "ChiTownGeneration" peps there, next time!
