Janet was NEVER performing.
Janet was presenting to Luther Vandross. Prince IS involved in the EWF tribute with Outkast, and others. The NY post article isn't claiming their story as fact, it's saying that 'it's been reported that...' | |

there will be a new album...  this year for sure...and there will be a tour...this year...not only HOB-gigs...there will be a lot...somebody is bringing Prince back to the top..step by step...more and more into the public eye...and when he is in the focus of the public the new album will be released to make sure it comes out right...maybe even a double - so Mr. Nelson can work on it for a year around the globe or even more...watch out...at the end of this year you will know...

I believe that Janet was surpose to perform with Justin again, but they weren't going to take that chance again.I believe Justin is going to perform by himself. They thought that Janet would take to much away from the show. I think that it is a good decision. I just want to hear some good music, save the strip shows for mtv. | |

So, Prince is opening the show with Beyonce and performing in the EWF tribute?
Also, it's funny that when Prince isn't on the radar you never hear about all these demands he supposedly makes. All the sudden he gets some press attention and now he's making wild demands. Too funny. Though it is the NY Post and they rarely have a clue when it comes to Prince. I guess that goes for most of the media.  | |

I don't mind being told that I'm wrong but I think that you should at least give up some kind of info. I got my info from the newspaper, I'm not saying that it is true but that is where I got my info from. Either way I'm glad that Prince is performing. | |

you can't be certain Janet wasn't going to perform because all they said was a surprise opening act. Maybe it was originally to be Janet, maybe not. |

Well these things i can confirm Janet Was Never Going to perform, i checked the performance list a while back when i found out , now to what Prince' is going to perform, thats pure speculation he might do the funk tribute, he might do the beyounce thing, or he might perform by himself i suggest don't try to guess and just wait till the grammies start | |

Obviously, the surprise opening act wasn't listed as a performer, otherwise it wouldn't have been a surprise. If it was Janet, then there could be something to the article. I'm not sure Janet warrants being a surprise, though. |
