Kurt Loder on Prince {{{"And then there was Prince. Prince opened the show because, even though his current music gets very little airplay, he remains a major, and highly influential, American artist. He's a flawlessly stylish performer and, as perhaps you noticed, a really ripping guitarist. Bringing Beyoncé on for a little mini-medley was a shrewd move, Grammy-wise — it added some up-to-the-minute heat. But Prince himself is a house afire whenever he steps onto a stage — no help needed, thanks — and we really must see more of him. Much more. Will somebody please do something about this?"}}}

I had the rare and extreme priviledge of seeing Prince last night at his House of Blues show and all I can say is that the man is brilliant! It was like a religious experience for me and more than ever I do agree with Mr. Loder. The world should be so lucky to have more exposure to the musical genius named Prince Roger Nelson.

Kurt Loder ALWAYS gives Prince his props. Hence the song "Props N' Pounds".
I know Kurt must surf the org from time to time. "You've got to believe in something... why not believe in me?"

Well, how about Kurt getting to work on this, I mean he does work for MTV!

Kurt is a legend at Rolling Stone so what he has to say has merit! Plus They had a fun interview on MTV's 5150 in 1999. Prince seems to know who to be cool with.. Jay Leno is another example of a poweful friend.
I think Kurt was hinting out loud to ALL the different award shows & MTV that they should always have Prince on their LIVE Award Shows! The guy is just the most talented performer in atleast 25 years.

Prince threw a concert for Kurt Loder in 1999 at PP and after the show I was talking to Kurt Loder for a bit and he is an arrogant asshole. He liked Prince a lot, but he couldn't stop talking about what a great guitar player Mike Scott was.
