Junior Eurovision entry samples Prince... twice As you may or may not know, the Eurovision Song Contest is a competition where all European countries can submit songs which are then voted on by the rest of the European community. Now there's an insipid Junior version (I think its 15 and under), and Belarus' entry, Tantsui by Volha [please don't ask how I happened to be watching the show] samples "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic" (or it could actually be "Every Day is a Winding Road") several times and Prettyman during the bridge.

This song contest did suffer from a lot of hassles regarding the originality of the songs...
reportedly there even was a song stolen from one country by another. But hey, it is a song contest... crap music garantueed. | |
