Fifth Atlanta concert/aftershow report

All of the reports that I have read accurately reported the
night it was simply AMAZING. I was very excited when I first heard
that the show would be at the Tabernacle because the energy in that
place is always great. I will not rehash info from the old
report but I just wanted to add a few extra notes and opinions.

Kip Blackshire and Mr Hayes were mingling in the audience before
the show I asked Kip about the aftershow. He said the he didnt know
but asked the sound man. He was a cool guy didnt know he was Kip
at the time if or I would asked him a million questions.

First the band was tight I was Najee fan before he joined Prince
and I thought he was great but I must admit I think Eric Leeds tone
goes better with Prince. But Najee was outstanding.

The guitar solo for the ride was even better than the sacrifice of victor solo!

Its been said many times but John Blackwell is the BOMB.

Prince fans are the friendliest I met so many cool people in line
and in the show many were serious music lovers.

Prince stated that the music today mostly sucks but not
ALL of it. My opinion of some good soul artist out now that are
deserving of greater appreciations are Tommy Sims, Amel Larrieux,
Ledisi, Omar.

The guy that got on stage and said Fuck Thanksgiving or something
like that was Professor Griff. He was an original member of
public enemy and kicked out because of some of his rhetoric.
Prince looked rather disapproving of the whole thing and left
for awhile I was upset that he would end the show also but he came back
and rocked.

I will make an attempt at the set list dont kill me if I miss something.
Uptown, controversy, mutiny, cream, i wanna be your lover, sexy dancer,

I know the orders are messed up but I got most of the songs.

I was on my feet mostly from 7pm til 3am didnt get home til 3:30.
spent altogether with ticket, parking, drink, aftershow $125.00
absolutely worth it all.

Prince played a lot of guitar, jammed on keyboards , danced ,
and his voice was incredible.

Im in love with Geneva and Rhonda
