Fourth report on Detroit performance Hmmmm. . .well, I'm curious to see what others thought (especially from those
of you who can compare this show to the other Hit 'N Runs so far), but, in my opinion, this was certainly not the concert that folks in the previous cities have been so excited about. A lot of songs seemed to be missing from the setlist--I'm sure others will report. And did anyone else think he seemed a little tired (as in fatigued)? He seemed to be in a good mood, smiling, laughing and all, but the dance moves weren't there (not that they have to be, but that seems to be an indication of his energy level) Don't get me wrong, it's always WONDERFUL to see him, but this concert came in a little under the radar. I wonder what was wrong? I did have wonderful seats and it was nice to hear him say, "C'mon Detroit, this is my second home--make me feel welcome!" But this wasn't worth the $100 that I paid. Everybody has an "off night". . .but, well, I just don't know. . . Did anything happen at the afterparty? | |
