Doug Nelson, bassist for Jonny Lang, was killed in highway accident. Doug was the bassist for Dr. Mambo's Combo for years. Doug's connection to Prince is he was in the band called MC Flash (a band that never released their album) that recorded with Prince back in 89 - 91 at Paisely Park.



I am sure you can find his name mentioned several times in Prince: A Documentary by Per Nilsen.



Doug was a great lost to the local Minneapolis music scene. He will be missed by all of us.
