This perhaps might have already been said, but there is a 7-8 page segment on Prince in the new book "ROCK AND ROLL IS HERE TO STAY", some guy is innerviewing Prince (not The Artist, so this must have occured within the last 5 months) and when Prince complains about how all the rappers are rapping about getting all the booty, the innerviewer remarks "yeah, but back in the day u sang about getting pussy too, u just did it more poetically", after that, Prince is quiet 4 a second, then busts out laughing.
There is also a definitive little quote r man slapped on the innerviewer at the end of the segment:
"My father named me Prince because he wanted me 2 go farther N life, and that's what Eye strive 4 every day."



Of course u all know that John named his son after the Prince Rogers Trio, but we now know (maybe u already knew)
why John Nelson named Prince 'Prince'.
