Unconfirmed reports are saying that Prince May perform with Larry Graham at the California Music Awards on Sunday May 25 in Oakland. Larry is receiving an honorary award that day. This is a FREE event from 12-6. Sheila E. is also in town that day for a show!!! Huuummm!!! Could be a very good day for the Bay Area.

And the 26th is a holiday.
If Prince doesn't perform at the music awards, maybe a late night after jam? I'm definitely there.
And no work the next day. Yippeee!!!

Even if he doesn't perform, it should be a cool little event. I've never been before...

Sheila E. will be playing in Morgan Hill, CA (ca. 90 min drive from Oakland) with her dad, Pete Escovedo; that day. Their performance is from 3.30 to 5.30 pm which is about the same time at the Cali Music Awards.

Are Prince and Larry still tight???
Larry Moved to Minneapolis so he could work with Prince...Is he stilll in there???

Being from Oakland, I'm planning on being there when Larry receives his Award, "The Key To The City," so I've heard. That would be a great surprise if Prince shows up.

I didn't know Larry was going to be at the CMA show, I guess I'll be checking that out too!

Hi Marzuki: I am from Oakland also and plan on attending the CMA Show. I'm confused though, when will Larry Graham be receiving his award? Is it not on the same day as the CMA show???
