Just got home from the Neil Finn concert in Sydney (approx. 80,000 people) in celebration of the Olympics. Both Wendy and Lisa performed the whole concert with Neil. Wendy played bass (yes bass!!!) all night and Lisa performed her usual effortless placement of keyboards. No Prince references were made, however I must say that both women played and performed (especially Wendy in her silver suit when the set started!!)senastionally. Neil did joke that Lisa was performing in the Yo-Yo finals for the USA allowing for the international crowd of sports fans gathered for the evening. It was a great performance and Neil mentioned that both Wendy & Lisa were going home tomorrow (Sunday). Did somebody say Prince is touring...????.
