Entertainment Weekly mentions Macy Gray's Paisley performance The June 30/July 7, 2000 Issue of Entertainment Weekly
magazine has an article titled "The It List - The 100 Most Creative People in Entertainment." On page 80 is Macy Gray. In her profile is "Worst Career Moment" of which she says: "Actually it was last night. I did a surprise performance at Paisley Park, and we started jamming on 'Sing a Simple Song' by Sly Stone. Prince ran up on stage to jam with us, but right then the band switched to another song! They didn't know he was up there. He walked off stage. He left. I was so bummed out I think I cried." I was there and remember this, but it didn't seem that traumatic a thing. I guess it was to her! | |
