WGPR in Detroit Plays "Xogenous" Detroit area listeners can check out WGPR where they're playing "Xogenous", one of the tracks from "Xpectation". It sure sounded good on the radio this evening. I called the d.j. and thanked him for it, but I forgot to ask him where he got his copy! | |

WGPR has always been supportive of Prince and the Npg, I remember Mojo who had an interview with Prince many years ago and Prince Thanked him on the Sign O'Times record, plus Mojo used to have star wars between Micheal and Prince often on WGPR... and Prince would WIN! It became more of a personal issue b/t fans...becuz ppl would call Micheal names and the non Prince fans would call him Girl and Boy!
Those were the days...Prince Ruled Detroit Airwaves... I guess the only place you can get the New Funk is by joining some club...out here and partying with them for their Princely events, like The 'Prince' Music Night on April 26th. 2003 at The Labyrinth Club 1703 Cass Ave at Bagley in Downtown detroit Ramada Inn @10pm. 18+ $5 PRINCE MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG!!!-We BREAKIN Out ALL THE OLD SCHOOL 'PRINCE' Joints and Beyond. prince was working with miles davis just before miles died. rumor is that he has a chunk of material they worked on together and he is just laying the groundwork for the realease. miles appeared at prince's 1987 new years eve party and played on stage with him.
xpectation artwork can be found on multiple sites since npgmc went away. cd tracks can be found too. | |
