Prince reference on The Simpsons in the UK

Okay, so it's not a SCOOP...

In a new Simpsons episode broadcasted in the UK (BBC2) called 'Lisa's Wedding', which is set in the future, has Kent Brockman (Springfield's resident TV reporter) reading out: "The following celebrities have been arrested." Then about 10 names scroll across the screen really fast, including "The Artist Formerly Known As prince". The symbol is really big so his name is the only recognisable one. Kent then says "Remember, if you see any celebrities, consider them dangerous. Let's keep arresting them!"

The episode was made before the name re-change though...

[Editor's note: I'm pretty sure this once has already been broadcasted in the US. - MWC]
