Prince shows for Estaire Godinez Shows Former bandmate Estaire Godinez, current percussionist for George Benson, is gearing up for a tour with her own band. Prince showed up last nite at the Artists' Quarter in St Paul, Minnesota and grabbed a guitar for a short solo. He has been showing at most of her recent shows. Two of her bandmates are current or recent members of the Prince crew. Eric Leeds on sax and Mike Scott on guitar.
She is playing again tonight and is inviting Prince again. Never know when or if he will show but it always adds energy to the night. Check her tour schedule by sending her a note at estairemusic@yahoo.com

The Estaire Godinez Band, Live from the Dakota, CD is fantastic. It isn't just music - it is a trip for sure.
Close your eyes, and you might think that you are somewhere in the Caribbean or Brazil. You can get lost in this CD. The musicians are outstanding, and Estaire Godinez takes you on a journey to another place. Her voice is sultry, beautiful, and she is an excellent percussionist.

Wow...it´s so great to see Prince playing his guitar so much lately, and joining MUSICIANs instead of talentless protegees...now he is turning into a mature musicain more than ever

Was she the percussionist? If so she played a bunch of Paisley jams and at the Mill City Music Festival.

You are welcome! The Music, the Band, and Estaire, are far better than my review. I'm listening to it right now. Beautiful!
