German Magazine MusikExpress votes SOTT best record of the 80's In german music magazine MusikExpress Sign O' The Times is ranked #1 of all records in the 80's. They say this album puts the expections for every new Prince record so high that it is almost impossible for every new record by Prince to come close to this masterpiece. Of course they end their story by spreading the rumour that at the time of the recording Prince and Susannah Hoffs had a romantic liason ongoing. I did not even know that she was doing backing vocals on this album. can someone help me out with some info on that?

sleye. I think they confused Susannah Hoffs with Susannah Melvion. That's who did backgrounds vocals on the record - not Hoffs. | |
