The Funk Brothers, the famed backing studio band from Motown Records' heyday, picked up two Grammys for best compilation soundtrack album and best traditional R&B vocal performance with Chaka Khan.

Check out the documentary, "Standing in the Shadows of Motown." It's the story of the Funk Brothers and the soundtrack is what they won their Grammys for.

I was totally dancing in the aisles after viewing the film "Standing in the Shadows of Motown". The brothers are "BAD" Very much understood why they recieved 2 Grammys(should have gotten more) Hope they all come to my part of the city, although because of all the uproar and riots, many artists have been known to cancel in which I do understand. Should be a fantastic show. I'll be there if you come here.
