ONA Live reviewed in Sunday Press in UK

ONA Live given 9/10 in Sunday Mirror (8th Dec) in UK "The purple one proves he still reigns"

Wonder how this could have been reviewed when seems many NPGMC members in the UK still havent got their "exclusive" copies yet. [I thought it was available at retail outlets/mailorder on Dec 2 or 3 in the UK? -Ben]

i was reading the comments on the People Magazine review and the complaints that retailers had the ONA piano CD included. We now know that this is not true. I am not an NPGMC member and I think you are all unfair. I do not know which countries you write from but the mistake you all make and Prince to is the level of techno;ogy available to people. I am in the UK and domestic access to the internet is not common. I do not have a credit card-which I know evry 10 year old in the states has. I was really looking forward to the piano set when it was stated it was to be included. Can't you lot be grateful for all the other downloads which you have access to. I am emailing from work and could not do all that NPGMC stuff from here-I am really disappointed. I think Prince should do some market research on PC usage and credit cards (which are often a bad thing) before he pontificates about people joining the club and sitting near the front of the theatre-Yes Prince I would love to-Have all your records-but not in a position to join the party.

How come u haven't got a credit card? It's easy enough just to get a debit card of something surely.

Sympathise with u about the internet access though. I was in a similar situation for a couple of years watching the club from the outside before we got a PC here (wahoo!).

Due to the delays in shipping the ONA Live sets to NPG MC members Prince has halted the distribution of the album. The shipping company are holding the stock until the club members have all received their copies. I guess this is to avoid complaints which have been levelled previously about titles hitting stores before directly ordered copies have arrived (anyone say Crystal Ball!). The street date here has been put back until early next week. Check www.madhousemusic.co.uk for the latest news. Is it out in the US stores yet? (I would be surprised if it is). The Aftershow cd makes it worth the wait!

If you can believe the posts on the .org then the BBB's presence has possibly resulted in NPGMC making sure that all customers have no basis for saying they didn't get a copy before the public release. This is what the BBB did - it made NPGMC aware of fans unhappiness. Otherwise the set may have hit stores before we all get copies. Kudos to the BBB.

I live in London and the ONA boxset arrived yesterday from the Prince Music Club via FedEx, It was a really nice surprise as I'd just been expecting just a single CD. I really enjoy the piano solo CD.
