Prince, "One Nite Alone...Live!" (New Power Generation): Prince fans have been waiting his entire career for a legitimate concert souvenir from the idiosyncratic Minneapolis artist, and he's delivered in a big way -- literally. Recorded during the early 2002 jaunt that was one of Prince's finest tours in years -- deftly straddling the line between bold and crowd-pleasing -- "One Nite Alone" houses two discs from the concerts, an "Aftershow" disc with guest appearances by George Clinton and Musiq, and a set of solo performances by Prince, accompanying himself on piano. It would still be nice to get some of those vintage '80s shows from his vaults, but this is a fine holiday present to the long-suffering faithful.

Long suffering faithful is right. But it was definitely worth the wait.

eye have showing the ona box 2 all the people at my work (eye'm a dj) and after one weekend .eye have 20 people who are asking me 2 order this one 4 them.eye played some off the songs at the end off the night .and everybody found it very amazing.

I got my ONA set and have been loving it ever since.Adore is the funniest piece that he has done in ages except for the small part in the Everlasting Now. I am glad to be a member of the NPGMC this year and will be joining next year as well.Sorry that there are so many haters on this site which is why I hardly log in anymore.GOD Bless you all and will continue to check back to see who is on the site but to be into someones music and to diss it all the time is kind of insane to me.
