They are going to list 3 titles, not say Emancipation (for the idiots out there, that's a 3 disc set)!! When I say I bought SOTT, I don't say I bought 2 CDs!! No one does, and they're trying to be tricky with the language they used in their advertisement for the club! EVERYONE who joined the club (which is supposed to be a legitimate business) expected 4 separate projects!! Why is something that's going to be sold in regular stores being given out as contract fulfilling member only stuff?? It doesn't make sense, and you can call some people whiners if you want, but they have very legitimate concerns over how this is playing out!!! If you think intelligence on the consumer's part is what's lacking here, than you are the one in need of it, I'm afraid. not a flyer...for the record, this is definatly the back of the box, you can tell by the bar code. It makes since that the titles aren't that big, since he's selling the idea of a live set to the general public, and not wanting to over-state the fact that there aren't more than a couple of the hits...oh yeah, and of course I feel a bit ripped about not getting what was promised, and in fact by not delivering what he had initially offered in Feb., I doubt I'll be giving them anymore money until I know exactly WHAT and WHEN different things will be available through the fan site.

Just my 2 cents... Someone said somewhere in this a thousand miles long thread that the bar code is on there so that retailers can order the set. So it doesn't have to be the back of the set. | |

I doubt that...the dimensions are all wrong for CD packaging...they also don't announce "catalogue number" so boldly on CD packaging either...that speaks of something sent to retailers, not to consumers... | |

I can't speak for everyone. But I would assume that most people joined early because they wanted access to the new cds as soon as possible. For instance, if you still have not joined, then that would mean you still would not have the One Night Alone piano cd. Hey WB - your comments about board-recordings being dry - that's the nature of the beast. A "board" recording is the sound coming from the music, out to the crowd. If they included mics in the crowd, the show would feedback, and it would be a mess.
So, the dryness is not an indication of overdubs - if anything, it's quite the opposite. The mix is dry because it's the mix that the soundman is pumping out to the masses. I've got board tapes from my band, and it's the same. I listened to julynlevy broadcast over the weekend. That was nice to have. Comes Alive by Frampton's still a best seller and noone ever had to "join" anything. But hey to each they're own.
