Official Hamburg Prince After Party (Review in Hamburger Morgenpost)

Fotoverbot | 18.10.2002

There are celebs who just don't care about photographers. Others are threatening them with umbrellas (Some german "celeb" is "famous" for giving a photographer a lesson with an umbrella).

And some are frightened because of flashlights, that they even don't make it on the street. Like Prince.
It was not only forbidden to take pictures during his concerts in Germany, also to enter the After-Show-Party after his concert in the CCH (Hamburg) was almost impossible. Three times the Mercedes with Prince was seen in front of the Mojo Club at the Reeperbahn. Three times the driver really hit the gas so that Prince was gone again. To many photographers. The little Prince didn't have the guts to go outside. But it really is 3 meters from the car to the club (of course no pictures policy inside too).
The frightended Singer went back to the hotel Atlantic to start his forth try at 1:30am. This time in the tourbus. This "big thing" indeed drove directly in front of the club entrance and Prince was in within a second. His arrival was met by the cheering of his fans who paid big 20 EUR for the party. In the Mandarin (small restaurant in the mojoclub) he took a drink celebrating to have gotten rid of those photographers to party afterwards on the stage of the Mojo.

Together with his personal DJ Dudley D Prince was playing with the "recordtables", yelled "Hallo Hamburg" and more but not understandable and partied until 4am. Why not right from the start ?

IMHO the internet is a universal medium, so make it understandable for everyone. English as language #1 is fine with me smile
