C.J.: Vikings speedster has thing for cheesecake Star Tribune Published Jul 9, 2002 Appalling Apollonia Us Weekly's "Fashion Police" think Apollonia ought to be arrested for what she wore to the Beverly Hills reopening of the A. Testoni store. The former Prince protege, who played the love interest in "Purple Rain" and most likely off-screen, gets the hostile workover from the mag's police crew in the July 15 issue. Buck Wolf, a correspondent for ABCNEWS.com: "Purple Reign of Terror." Actor/comedian Ron Pearson: "Prince confesses: 'I never wanted 2 be her weekend lover.' " Comedian Matt Weinhold: "The outfit inspired Prince to write 'Raspberry Poncho.' " Goumba Johnny, WKTU radio guy and comedian: "Put this back on the couch where it belongs." Brian McKim: "Another satisfied QVC customer." . . . Cher also gets a fashion smackdown. Best one came from Heather McDonald of MTV's Lyricist Lounge: "If she could turn back time, she would have worn something else." Memo to Cher: I love you, babe, but you are looking terrible. The blond hair, those lips, that immobility in facial movement all make you absolutely frightening. © Bart Van Hemelen

If you go to wireimage.com and search "apollonia" the pics will come up. The outfit isn't as bad as you would think, but it's not so pretty either. -Dean is the cheese to my macaroni- | |
