There are two upcoming Prince specials being aired on MTV2. The first is entitled 'The Artist Collection', and airs at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on July 5. It is a two-hour show consisting of Prince music videos. The second is immediately following at 9:00 a.m. Eastern. It is entitled 'Prince: Party at Paisley Park'. Nothing is known about this beyond the title except that it is 30 minutes long.

'Prince: Party at Paisley Park' plus Prince recording the ONA show live on video last night (wednesday) with 4 cameras in Paisley Park equals: Could it be THAT???

Or is it simply yet another re-run of the 96 Emancipation day concert?

I just checked out the mtv website. They are airing the Emancipation day concert. Nothing about One Nite Alone

Yep, I'm looking at it on my TiVo screen right now, which gets its program guide info from DirecTV. 7:00 A.M., Friday, July 5. Length is two hours. I also just doublechecked the MTV2 website, and this has the same information. Where are you looking?

I went 2 MTV2.COM and went 2 ON AIR. Then I done a search on July 5th 6am - 9am and then I seen Artist Collection airing at 7am - 8am Underneath the words Artist Collection it saids see all AIR DATES. When I clicked on it said

I have Tivo and Directv. The Artest collection is listed as being from 2000. The Party At Paisley Park is listed as being form 2002. I thing the party show is just a repeat of the Emancipation show concert. It is realy from this year it might be a special on this years celebration. I don't thing either show will have any "new" material we have not seen before, but you never know. I found this because I have Prince as wishlist on Tivo.

P.S. BET Starz! will show Under The Cherry Moon on 7/2 at 11:30 AM Pacific. The will aslo show Purple Rain on 7/4 at 10:20 AM Pacific.
