Hey All,

{{{There will again be a "laminate design contest" for the
upcoming "Xenophobia" celebration.}}} For those of you who were not around for last
year's Celebration, let me try to fill you in:

BEFORE last year's Celebration the NPN Groups Leaders got together and
decided that it would be nice to make available to our groups laminates to
display at the Celebration.

The laminate was to be universal on one-side (displaying our umbrella group name "New
Power Network") and the other-side displaying a logo (or design) that represented
the individual groups (ChitownGeneration, prince.org, New Power Clique, NPNY, LoveSexyDC etc.)

Well, it that time again with the Celebration just a month away to get those creative juices flowing and focused toward the design of this year’s NPN side of the laminates!

***Those that are interested in designing individual group laminates may express their interest directly to that group. A complete listing of the NPN member groups is at our official website http://www.newpowernetwork.com/

Your laminate design should follow this list of criteria:

SIZE: 3 X 5
FORMAT: 300 dpi as a jpg...Adobe Acrobat PDF, Adobe PhotoShop PSD or EPS or a standard Illustrator Doc 8.0 or higher.
NO Symbol or Prince image should be included in your design! [Trying not to be sued]
Winner will be announced at the NPN website < http://www.newpowernetwork.com >.
If you fit all of the names of the various groups on the NPN side of the laminate, YOU deserve a special prize!).

CONTEST DEADLINE: June 7th 2002

***For those that are interested in submitting a design for NPNY individual group laminate, your submission deadline is June 1st 2002

The Groups leaders are donating various prizes, and ChiTownGeneration plans to kick-in an autographed copy of the "Days Of Wild" book as well as a few promotional goodies!

NPNY – Possibly a year subscription to UPTOWN Magazine or a copy of “TURN IT UP”

The NPC – The complete catalog of Da Dj Brotha Finess MixShows up to May 2002 and more goodies to be announced in the weeks to come!

Im not going 2 the Celebration, but I have some card ideas.

"Im no longer #1 at the bank, cuz I attended Celebration!"

"A $100 NPGMC membership, $250 to attend the Celebration, and I still have 2 make my own laminate!"

"Im from out of town. Can u hook me up 4 the night?"

"Admission is easy, just say U have $250. Paisley Park is in U're wallet"

..and im sure there are a million others, Like a Mastercard "Priceless" one , etc...
