I just wanted to let everyone that the future of Prince Night at the Front in MPLS is in doubt. Prince Night has been a tradition at the Front for some years now and I have been the honered dj for a couple years. However the fan-fair seems to be lessening. Is it me? Is it Prince's popularity? Or is it just tough to go out on Wednesdays in MPLS in the Winter? I am honestly not sure. Anyway, Spring is here and I welcome all those 21+ to come join us at the Front. By the way, the termination of this night is a real concern of mine, and not just a way to get a free promo on prince.org.

My girl and I have been wanting to go to Prince night for a long time only we did not know it was still a thing. It has usually been advertised in the City Pages, but we stopped seeing it for wed nights. We will go if its still on.

I think it just maybe might be that its hard to get out on wed nights...not u...not prince. Just chilly nights.

I went to The Front on Wed for the Prince night and had a good time. I'm from Ohio, but if I lived in Mpls I would go there with some friends and dance. It's a shame it won't be Prince night any longe.

not 2 B mean but most of the people in MPLS rather go and check out "Conversation Piece" on wednesday nights at Jazzmine's, featuring Kirk johnson, Chance (member of the Time) and other musicians.... sorry mate

Man I love going down there but sometimes waking up Thursday for work is a bitch. I hope it doesn't disappear..I'll get my crew down there.

what I don't understand is this "21 years" law you have over there in the US.
I mean, you're allowed to drive at 16 but may not drink alcohol before 21!
In Germany you can drink with 16 and drive with 18, I think that's better because you get to know alcohol first and when you make your driver's license, you know what happens when you drive drunk.

I live by The Front and am embarressed to say I have yet to go. Wednesday nights are bad for me, as are any weekday nights due to school. I will try to drum up support here in the marcy/holmes neighborhood dj wolf!

if i may, i'd like to add a comment myself... this freakin weather doesnt help. it wednesday at 5:30pm. the temp is quickly dropping, snow is falling, and it's just gonna get worse. i understand ya'll. why would ya wanna go out to the club tonight?. oh well, this is just the way it is in MPLS. can't find ya house underneath the snow - who said that?
