Mica Paris and The Rainbow Children

One of Britain's most talented soul singers, {{{Mica Paris, discusses her dismay at the current state of music. She does, however, love Prince's new effort 'the Rainbow Children'.}}}

There is, however, Prince. "Rainbow Children is his new album and it's ridiculous, it is so good. He's right there again, he's back. He's just rude. I mean, he's totally on this Jehovah's Witness tip at the moment - God bless him, not my thing, but choose what you want - but nobody has come close to what he's doing and until they do, let the old cronies keep at it.

"You don't have to retire, and Prince is showing us that. Most young stars just want to be famous, but that's the easy part - the hard thing to do is to leave something that stirs the human consciousness, and Prince has done that. Do you know what I mean?"

"London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

"YEAH!!!"

"Yeah, well then fuck those other fools!"

I totally agree on that, If he skipped that Jehova's Witness, and went back to a dirty mind, i would consider him perfect. smile

good article. what's Interresting is people want P 2 go back the way he used 2 b. what is that? what is being the way u used 2 b? think about that 4 a sec....

P mental state or Inner Minds Eye is Focus'd on The Cre8tor more now than he's ever been. it's more Focused. i don't b*lieve 4 1second that he's a JW. he may read their version of The Bible but i don't think that Faith would captivate his mind body & soul. if that's the case then he'd stop per4rmin' & droppin' Gems like he's being doing since the begining.

i'd like 2 see P just "Let Loose" @ a Concert/Show & he doesn't have 2 use Profanity 2 get his point across anymore.

like i said b4... good article smile

RIIIGHT! Most kids want to just be stars, famous, the persuit of instant status. That's what drives them, whether in pop music or hip hop.

Most use fame to go on to other things that they probably really want, to be an "actor". To have some other form of celebrity. But is that what legacy they want to leave?

Music seems to be not the priority. It's sad, but musicians and musicianship will rise again. It will.

Teach the babies.

You Know what, she took the words right outta my mouth. Beautiful comment, beautiful review, and after hearing TRC live, no one can tell me different.

He's 43, not 22. You'll change too.
