Candy plays wonderfully AND sings waaaayyyy the heck better than Madonna, Britney Spears, Apollonia, Carmen Electra, Mayte, Mariah Carey she ain't, but neither can Mariah blow that sax...I would say, I'm glad YOU didn't audition P's bandmates.

P is always pushing his bandmates 2 add sumthin new 2 there stage presence. Remember how he did Shiela E. Candy is not Patti Labelle but she's an adequate singer just like Rhonda is. P's just pushing them 2 do more just like he pushed Jimmy Jam&Terry Lewis 2 dance while they play ed their instruments as well as sing!

eh, whatever. i wouldn't buy a candy album or anything (not a big fan of the sax, for starters), but i think she can carry a tune. i don't know what people are so worked up over...if y'all don't knock it off, he's gonna bring back tony m. and give us all something to REALLY grouse about.

I seen Candy sing in Vegas earlier this year and I thought she was really good...So much better than Rad.

I agree with the original poster. Candy can't sing. She is the reason I skip LOTP. I cringe when I hear her voice. Sorry. She can blow on the saxaphone though, but she needs to leave the singing alone.

Candy is alright on Life 'O the Party, I just want her to stay the hell away from Fallin'

well i didn't think candy did all that well on the album version of "Life O' The Party" but on that clip on npgmc it sounded like she improved a lot. She's not the worst singer he has had, i give that honor to Apollonia....

No one is hating on Candy. Just because she may sound better than Britney, J-Lo, Ashanti and the rest of the pop-tarts doesn't say much about her singing ability. A lot of folks sound better than them, but that doesn't mean that they can sing.

Ok, I'd call it flawpicking. She's doing just great on the tour...that video performance w/"Fallen" was just beautiful. She's beautiful, talented and I think she's giving it all she has, which is all a performer can do. She's not trying to replace Alicica Keys by doin a bit of her hit in a medley w/ Prince.
