I recently watched this for the first time & it's the shiznit.Even though some of the original members are gone, the band is still tight! All the older songs plus stuff from the Pandemonium album played in a huge stadium full of funky Japanese fans. Well shot too with multiple cameras.It's safe to say I like it better than alot of 80s Time concerts I have on VHS/DVD.

The 2 guys who played with The Time replacing Terry on bass and Jesse on guitar on that particular gig were D.O.A. on bass and Bobby G. on guitar, who NOW play with Lionel Richie which is musical directed by.. get this Chuckii Booker, who musical directed & opened up for Janet Jackson who was produced by... Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Haha, kind of cool if you asked me.

Morris Hayes was also the extra keyboard player on that show. I actually thought that show was subpar to most of the early or current shows. Bobby G was definetly not as good as jesse or Tori, but of course they only did 2 shows and probably a couple of rehearsels, plus i know on that show he broke astring on something.

Cool to hear Shake though, don't know of them ever playing it except for those Japanesse shows, maybe that london show but I'm not sure. Also cool to hear sometimes i get lonely and Chocolate 2 other songs that have rarely been performed live

Dammitt!! I had it saved as a favorite a long while ago. I can't seem to find it now.The only thing I can deduce is that it was a link I found from purple music(defunct now,i think). But they had some really cool stuff on there. There were so many dvd's and they had ratings of them and descrptions. Some had menus and everything. I remember one was a concert and had their videos on tyhere,too. I'm gonna still try to find it.

Bobby was chankin' that shyte like Prince if you ask me. yeah, he broke a string on the solo on "Drawls" but that fool is no joke all around. I've seen the Yokohama show and The Time with Tori on guitar. Bobby G. definitely had all the parts down and is a much funkier, all around player than Tori IMHO

Thats what I really like about the Time as a live unit. They rock. Stuff like My Drawers, Get it Up, Blondie, Ho parade. I though Bobby was OK, but it just didn't move me like Tori or Jesse. Thats cool though, everybody has diffent taste. Still a good show
