At the Family Jamm they said twice that Apples has a new album coming out on some record label but I couldn't catch the name (it sounded like an independent).

But I can't find any info on her on the web. Does she have a website?? Anyone know the deal?

I heard she's producing Carmen's show in Vegas but no confirmations.

I'm curious as to how she makes a living now. I mean she can't still be living off Purple Rain and Falcon Crest? But I can't find any recent projects for her.

BTW I talked to her after the show and she is really very, very sweet and nice in person. And very beautiful too. Like she hasn't aged a bit! And a really great person.

I didn't hear anything specifically about an album. I'd be interested to see if she does it, though. She was one person who I was really looking forward to meeting at the Jamm, but didn't get a chance to talk to for long.

Anyway, have you seen this this info about "the Twilight Singers"? This album came out last October:

I have no idea what you are referring to... but maybe that was what they said at the Jamm. "Twilight Singers" soudns familiar.

She probably still makes a decent living on royalties from Purple Rain filma dn album (remember she was on Take Me with U). Other than that, I hope she sells a little ass on the side because I will start saving up for a peice.

i heard from some film friends in l.a. that she has/had a production company in town connected to tv and film (but this was almost 4 years ago). i know from personal experience that production is a nameless, faceless behind the scenes task that generally makes good money. even your moderately successful small production company can net the owners/ceos at least $200,000 a year after they pay all their bills and employees- so if her little company was doing even remotely okay she pretty much won't have to worry about dough as long as she dosen't live above her means (which unfortunately is tempting thing to do in businesses like film, fashion, music, etc.). but overall, i'd bet she's probably doing alright financially.
